Echinacea

Echinacea

Also known as purple coneflowers, Echinacea are tall perennials with large, vivid flowers in shades of purple, orange and white. They flower from mid summer to autumn, so are perfect for adding late summer colour in any sized garden. Insects and butterflies love the large, open flowers, making Echinacea perfect for a wildlife garden.  They look stunning planted among other bold perennials such as Rudbeckias and Sedums or among grasses in a prairie style planting.
