Common name: Toothed lancewood
A highly unusual upright, evergreen tree from New Zealand .
Young plants have coarsely toothed leathery leaves with sharp points that hang stiffly downwards.
As they mature they produce spreading dark green leaves.
Average height 12-20ft.
Grow in a sheltered spot.
Hardy down to -10
