Product Description

1 x plant approx 125/150cm tall

Common name: Wild Cherry

A native deciduous tree with reddish-brown bark. It produces beautiful spring blossom in April-May and has rich autumn tones. Bright red cherries appear in autumn which are loved by birds. Average height 50ft+. Excellent specimen trees or as part of a mixed native hedge.

 

Recommended planting distance: 5 per metre

Hardiness: Fully Hardy

Suitable for: Mixed native hedge, single species hedge

Features: Spring blossom, cherries in autumn, native species, autumn colour, wildlife friendly

 
Bare root plants: These plants can be planted anytime between November and March. We keep our bare root hedging in tubs of damp compost at the nursery. If you are not planting your plants immediately then keep the roots damp (preferably in compost) and out the sun until you are ready to plant.
