Product Description
25 x bare root 2yr old plant approx 60-90cm tall
An upright to spreading shrub with arching branches and grey-green leaves which are white beneath. White flowers, suffused with red, are produced from May to June, followed by bright orange-red, round fruit in August. Absorbs roadside air pollution so good for urban areas. Evergreen during mild winters. Average height 6-8ft. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy.
Recommended planting distance: 1ft (30cm) apart for a single species hedge

Bare root plants: These plants can be planted anytime between November and March. We keep our bare root hedging in tubs of damp compost at the nursery. If you are not planting your plants immediately then keep the roots damp (preferably in compost) and out the sun until you are ready to plant.
We may prune 20% off the tops of your plants before sending. This will encourage strong bushy growth
