Ligustrum (Privet)

A quick growing, evergreen/semi-evergreen shrub with oval leaves. There are numerous varieties which have plain or varigated leaves & produced white flowers from August to September followed by black berries in August. Excellent for hedges as they can be trimmed to keep compact & neat.
