Product Description

1 potted 4yr old plant approx 20-30cm tall

Common name: English Yew (Taxus baccata)

A slow-growing, evergreen conifer with dense, deep green leaves. It produces bright red fruits in winter which are attractive to birds. Yew is excellent grown as a specimen tree, where it will reach an eventual height of 30ft, or as a thick hedge, where it can be kept pruned to any height from 3ft. It is also great for shaping into topiary, and lends a classic, timeless element to a garden. Yew is very long lived, and tolerant of shady, exposed or dry sites and of pollution.

Growth rate: up to 1ft a year once established
